KABAYAKI KOP

The birthplace of BUNGUBOX, Hamamatsu, is known for its eels.

The secret sauce that makes their eels so good is literally its sauce.

And because we love skewered eel, or Kabayaki, so much, we have made a fountain pen in its honor.

The cap and barrel may look like it has fine glitter in it, but it is actually polarized pearlescent gold to give it its luster.

The cap ring is engraved with the fruit and leaf of "Sansho" (Japanese Pepper), a spice indispensable for kabayaki to give it a subtle spicy kick!

The finial has a raden rendering of an eel, which also happens to represent the Japanese character, う, the first character of Unagi (eel in Japanese).

It is presented in a magnificent wooden box as if it were a kabayaki-jyu (broiled eel) served at a high-end restaurant.
